The objective of Computer Organisation & Logic Design (COLD) laboratory at CSED@IET-L is to provide practical knowledge of data representation and digital logic circuits used in the computer system. The students explore general concepts in digital logic design their use in combinational and sequential logic circuit design. The students also learn the basic architecture of processing, memory and I/O organization in a computer system. The students learn the concept of assembly language programming using 8085/8086/8088 microprocessors and microcontroller kits with LCD displays.
COLD consists of the following pieces of equipment:
-
Digital Bread Board Trainer Kits with Graphical LCD
-
8085 Microprocessor Trainer Kits with LCD Displays
-
