Dr. Pushpendra Pandey is an Assistant Professor (Contract) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Institute of Engineering & Technology (I.E.T.) Lucknow, an autonomous constituent institute of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, India. He is a dedicated Mechanical Engineering professional with experience in teaching and research, focusing on Reliability Engineering, Data-Driven and Predictive Maintenance, Risk-Based Maintenance, Maintenance Scheduling and Lifecycle Cost Optimization, RAMS Analysis, Industry 4.0 and Smart Maintenance. He has a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. in Reliability Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. Before joining I.E.T. Lucknow, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT), Prayagraj. Dr. Pandey has published several reputed research paper and conference paper, two books, one book chapter and holds five granted patents. Furthermore, he serves as an Editorial Board Member and Reviewer for several reputed journals.
