AUTOMATIC CAR PARKING SYSTEM

Our main objective is to develop a fully automated car parking system with minimal human involvement. With the increasing population, time is of the utmost importance, and we aim to reduce the time spent on finding a parking spot in busy areas and reduce traffic congestion. We have observed that accidents can occur in parking situations due to cars moving at high speeds or frustrated drivers not finding a parking space for a long period. Our proposed smart and automated car parking model will allow users to book their parking spaces in advance, and the vehicle will automatically park once it enters the parking zone. Our project differs from existing automated car parking systems in that we strive to minimize human interaction as much as possible by equipping the vehicle and parking area with sensors to ensure a safe and efficient parking experience. Our goal is to provide a completely safe and automated, robust experience that can be implemented in real-time, hopefully becoming the standard for parking systems.
