Arun Kumar Tiwari is a Professor, at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, I.E.T, Lucknow. He also serves as the Head of the Department, of Mechanical Engineering, IET, Lucknow. He also serves in other positions such as: Coordinator, UP Combined Entrance Test-2021, Coordinator, Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling 2022, Officer In-charge, Training & Placement I.E.T, Lucknow. Dr. Tiwari has been recognized for three consecutive years as an Indian researcher of “Top 2% Scientists in the world” in the list of Stanford University, US, and Elsevier, 2021, 2022 & 2023 in the Mechanical Engineering research category. Dr. Arun has completed his Ph.D. from IIT (BHU), Varanasi. He completed his M. Tech from IIT-Roorkee. He has graduated in Mechanical Engineering from B.I.E.T Jhansi. He had supervised 09 Ph.D. theses, and about 15, M. Tech theses in his areas of interest. Dr. Tiwari has published 125+ research articles with h-index: 43 / i10-index: 76, Google Scholar Citations: 6500+, and 18 book chapters. He is awarded as “AKTU Best Teachers Award 2020” by Vice-Chairman AICTE Prof. M.P. Poonia on the occasion of Teachers Day. His 20+ research papers have more than 100 citations (Google Scholar data). He works in the field of Heat Transfer, Nanofluids and heat exchangers, Carbon Capture and Storage to Reach Net Zero, Green Hydrogen Production from Renewable Sources, and ORC Technology for Waste Heat Utilization for the Generation of Electricity.
